Marcia was also a singer before she joined Boney M. and toured as a solo singer/artist. So Liz wasnt the only singer when the group was put together. Marcia was probably the one with the most experience when the group started out.

this is the story as i have heard to be true. Yes Frank Farian did thrwo them together as he did with manilli vanilli. But these guys decided to learn it for real. lead singer liz was a singer booby was a dancer as was one of the other girls and the final girl was a model. they took the chance and learnt and practised hard to be goo performers thats why they are still talked about. not like manilli vamilli who just faded. these guys still rock.

None of the Boney M. members are rich. They did a reunion in 1988-89 which didn't last. Since then, the original four members are touring separately with their own Boney M. line-ups.
