Sorry, my memory is bad. That would have been in 1988 or 89.

Not that Phil isn`t amazing or anything, he is one of my guitar hero`s. But he lost his finger when he was 4 and didn`t start playing guitar till after it was gone so he doesn`t know playing with 4 fingers and thumb on his right hand. I`ve been privileged to have a that song played for me & and friend back in 85 when he and Randy Stonehill did a concert at my church. Truly amazing! Thank you Phil for your incredible generosity.

It's amazing to see how the courage and the perseverance of one man can be so much inspiring for us who watching.
I mean, the guy lost a finger and that doesn't seem to disturb him. But logically, it suppose to be harder to play when you lost a finger ? It didn't seem to be harder for him !
That must be hard to adapt yourself to play guitar when you miss a finger, and for that I just want to say cheer !
thank you for this inspiring video
May God bless this guy !

This song is from the Wind and the Wheat CD. Release in 1987 I believe. Lots of fine music on it. Sort of Phil's answer to the Windham Hill music that was quite popular at the time.

Yes. I have an old VHS of it. It's called "Phil Keaggy Acoustic Guitar Style." It's put out by Music Source International.
