Gyaran is the nephew of Souther, His style
Nanto Gashou Ken is not part of the 108 fight
ing styles of Nanto Sei Ken.
Gyaran named himself the unofficial successor
of Nanto Houou Ken after Souther dies, The
blind guy is not Shuu's son but he is the suc
cessor of Nanto Hakru Ken.
This was sidestory but it has never been conf
irmed of being part of the Hokuto No Ken stor
yline.

The plot of the game doesn't really make much sense to be honest and its annoying they mention all of these successors to the Hokuto, Nanto and Gento styles (including Falco's posthumous son Missyu), but they never once mention Ryu, the son of Raoh. Also, why would Lin and Bat wait so long for their wedding?

This is supposed to be more or less Fist of the North Star: The Next Generation. Many of the characters are either, reincarnations or successors to many of the characters from the original manga. Zaki (the girl) is Mamiya's adopted daughter, while Souther's son is named Gyaran.
