WELCOME TO AMERICA >> NOW LEARN HOW TO SPEAK ENGLISH !!! By the way, Im getting tired of opening an owners manual and finding english & spanish. Why don't they include french, german hebrew, chinese, japanese, greek etc. too ? Another screwy thing in the USA.

Keeping one's heritage and native language should not be something to be ashamed of, nor is it something to be shunned by others. Any signs not being put up in english obviously does not have the native english speakers as a target audience. As a Chinese immigrant, I have long lost my ability to read and write Chinese. I can barely hold a conversation in my native tongue, and sometimes, I really do regret losing my heritage.

English is actually NOT the official language of the United States of America. We do not have one. Probably for a reason. Think about that.

so unaware of the real issues? this is a real issue? two honky trailer-park idiots singing about they don't want other people to speak other languages in this country. ray charles can see this is racist, and he's blind and dead.
i would rather judge and name-call rather than try to tell people what to do and what language to speak. you = meathead

This makes a good point, but it is important not to forget that America was founded upon the idea that everyone was welcome, regardless of race, religion, origin, or economic class. I have been all over europe and in most places, they have english signs and audio after the native language. It is not unrealistic to suggest that foriegners living in America should learn to speak and understand english, however this is not an excuse to exude the American ignorance that the world has come to expect.

About time someone wrote this song! I love it ! Maybe someone out there can tell me...when we travel to a foreign country, do we have an option to press 1 for English?
