No comment, if the price of energy will encrease becuse we will have to use different, more expensive and maybe less clean energy sources, those people will have no problem. But the poor people, what will they say? And what is the advantage for them? Good image? I do not think so, people are not all ignorant!

Lng ignites at about 1,000 degrees i believe ,also...it's amazing that you have Engineers like JBLanchard who give you the facts on LNG but idiots like bfalcy who just jump on a bandwagon to be with the In Crowd...Ted Danson doesn't know ANYTHING bout natural gas but what he is told...typical hollywood American style hysteria foisted into the media spotlight while the rest of the world laughs at you

I haul 10,000 gallons of LNG every day , delivering it to all the major trash and bus companies in California and Arizona....from Anaheim to Phoenix they all burn clean ,natural ,safe fuel...have you ever heard of an LNG tanker exploding? Rupturing? No, because it doesnt happen ,but diesel and gas tankers roll and rupture all the time.

man you're really dumb. I'm a cryogenic technician and I bathe in the stuff ,even at -260. What do you want for your houe, to heat it in the winter, propane? An unstabble gas? You're the dummy here ,no one else. Go buy an island dummy and wear grass leaves in the winter....oh wait you're a JOBLESS LOSER who doesn't know his head from his ass, sorry!

All these comments seem to come from people who know nothing about the LNG tankers and ports. Since these people helped protest, your LNG line is now proposed to rape and plunder Oregon. I wish some movie stars would come north and help us protest. All you commenters.....do you know how much pressure 1440psi are? do you know what a frac out is? have you seen the houses that were burned to the ground just this past September by these exact pipelines? Go stick your head back in the sand

Yeah, just get a bunch of high profile folks who know nothing about LNG to speak out about it; that'll work. "just a bomb", they know NOTHING! Do some research about the stuff before you reject it. LNG is the cleanest, safest alternative to oil available at the monent.

Some facts: There are 295,000 miles of gas Transmission pipelines in the US; and over 1,900,000 miles of Natural Gas Distribution pipelines. There are 109 LNG "peak shaving" gas staorage plants in the US right now, many have been operating since the 1970's without incident. LNG peak shaving plants are connected to our natural gas transmission and distribution systems. In LNGs 45 year shipping history, LNG ships have traveled more than 100 million miles without a single major incident.

I am a fan of many of these stars, BUT LNG is about as clean as it gets? Many folks rely on natural gas to heat their homes... Natural gas powers the electric plants that supply energy to Hollywood so they can make movies. Would they be willing to give up their private jets (they burn JP-5)? LNG (unlike coal and crude oil) how can they say a clean-burning fuel (LNG) contributes to global warming? Do the people in this video CARPOOL? I think NOT.

I am a marine engineer. I work on LNG ships. LNG is not very volatile. LNG is all around better for the environment when compared to any other crude product. It is cheaper. I believe there should be standardized testing for protesters before they are allowed to protest. People need to research what they are fighting against. There are a plethora of publications on the subject. It seems no one in this video knows how to debate. Don't shoot your mouth off if you don't know anything.

Ted Danson is an idiot. The only business that the Malibu coast brings in is $20M homes built in the middle of wildfire and landslide zones. California taxpayers have to pay millions for firefighters to protect their McMansions. These actors want to protect Malibu and their $10M homes, but wouldn't give a crap if they wanted to put it near a working class or poor neighborhood. These celebrities would also throw a protest against oil companies if crude prices rose to $180 per barrel.
