You don't need a data plan to use the Wi-Fi, if that's what you're asking. You can connect the Wi-Fi to your home network and use that to browse the web.

its sturdy but has bad battery life and is slow when you turn it on.

well my shadow has a good battery life and yea its a good phone and i took of the internet and i just use the wifi. the wifi works realy well. oh and i love the big screen .. and yea bye

Complain to customer service, thats why my mom did to get a better battery pack thing. haha
