where did you get this information? I've always thought that this is a his own creation and that people confuse it with judy and mary's version because of the title...

its over drive by judy and mary. the only thing original was that kurikinton fox created the piece for guitar, on a faster scale. the original motivation was based on the sample for bass guitar.

Uh, sorry dude, it's not. It's an original composition. That's how he's able to have this cd in stores such as HMV and Tower records without having to acknowledge anyone in the liner notes (I have the cd) or pay royalties to anyone, because he wrote it. Whilst he does do a lot of covers, his album contains only original material. Check his blog to keep updated as to what's he's up to. P.S. I've never even heard of an anime called "overdrive effects." Who was the director/animation studio?
