Dig all them Nasty Drummers! Check out Dafnis Prieto for some of that Latin Jazz and an all around Nasty Player!

hell ya! jeff ballard is one of the greatest living jazz drummers along with brian blade, jorge rossi .. i really like avishai cohen's current drummer as well, his name slips me at the moment. for more experimental funk and afro-cuban rhythms i love billy martin .. scott amendola rocks too.

Spot on, mate! So many People shy away from complexity in music and see it as a barrier to enjoyment, but if one perseveres and takes some time with jazz it's full beauty can be revealed. I spent about six months listening to Thelonious Monk before I "got it", but DAMN, I am SO glad I took that time. Stick with it mate, there's so much more great music to hear. Peace.

Yeah, wrong footage. NOT an overdub. And as for the black/white thing... Irrelevant in this day and age, mate. 21st century Jazz is multi-coloured, like it or not. Peace!

Sounds all original and looks live, but I wouldn't recognise the tune. Marvellous stuff.
