To unlock those characters you have to use certain characters for certain battles...
Like for Niwe... Niwe is always after Hakuoro... so you gotta use Hakuoro to unlock Niwe.
Or Nuwangi, you gotta use Eruruw to unlock Nuwangi :O
There might be a guide to unlocking characters out there... tell me if you can't find it :O
