Actually, Ranma acts very annoyed whenever Shampoo gets close to him; he even referred to her as a pest in one episode. He has definitely been anxious and nervous around Akane especially when they are alone.

Yes I know her other female protagonists are pretty much the same with the violent jealous tendencies but that's what made her famous. Still with Akane she has used every single blunt object available to beat Ranma up and if you think about Sango doesn't get violent unless Miroku's flirting or perverted also the same as Lum only if Ataru is hitting on other women. Akane has beaten pretty much every male even Ryoga.
