Myung's awesome, man. His lyrics in stuff like Lifting Shadows and Learning to Live, especially Trial of Tears, show how deep the guy is, much more thoughtful lyrics that the other members. Dedicated musician, the guy actually warms down after shows. He's just a quiet, introverted guy, and enjoy his privacy, something I can understand and respect.

Dude Mr. John Myung is probably one of the most humble and nice guys you will ever meet in your life. He is incredibly shy, but has a really warm personality and never likes to show off. Your shallow comment is just the perfect definition of judging a book by his cover (in my mind he does not look like a creeper at all).
