June Carter Cash was the original composer of this song. Heres a little interesting info about Johnny:His name was J.R., which didn't stand for anything. When he joined the Air Force, he found that he wasn't allowed to use those initials so he gave himself the first name of John.
Johnny Cas was the greatest singer in his day beside Elvis but sadly he died at the age of 71 due to complications of diabetes on September 12, 2003. 2 years and 1 day after the tragic 9/11 incident.
