Now I don't see why all you people are calling Hauenkua a coward. Sure, there's no doubt he's a sadist, but looksie here... if YOU were being chased by a vengeful god, I'm pretty sure you would get the hell out of there too! Nice spoilers. Best scene in the show.

In case you're all wondering, the guy with the long blue hair and the high voice is called Hauenkua. Hauenkua isn't the main villain of this series, but he does happen to be a SADIST (which means he derives PLEASURE from human suffering caused by wars which is why he's so eager to fight; that's why he laughs after he slashes Aruruu!). In the original Utawarerumono game, Aruruu was bleeding like CRAZY afterwards, and this event made Hakuoro angry enough to unlock his true form.
