i just loved this movie. there were no special effects. and the entire movie takes place during the day in sunlight. how many horror movies have u guys seen take place in broad daylight??? Shyamlan is a guy who loves to tell stories and i like that. You cant expect logic in a story. i believe that all his movies have been really nice than the harry farter crap jk rowling writes :)

Good movie by M. Night Shaymalan, but is not for the sumer season, people want to see more entertainment films in this season, they don't care is the film is original or not.

seriously?!?! the acting was HORRIBLE, the storyline was shit, M. Knight did great with films like the sixth sense, signs, unbreakable, but shit man this movie was stupid, just the worst movie ive ever seen.

kingfbi, I'm also a great fan of M Night, and I too am a person who really appreciates a movie with substance. But there was a clear lack of both substance and entertainment factor in this movie. The acting was also pitiful. he concept was marvellous though. I was really upset because M Night is capable of much more. Being loyal fans we should appreciate a filmaker by also analyzing the faults. I am hoping his next one will be the talk of the town, hes a really great filmaker

Guys, honestly I am a huge fan of Shyamalan's work, until I saw this shit. Trailer looked great...but the movie is absolute trash 60s horror flick. All the action happens in the first few minutes and the rest is pretty obvious in terms of what is actually 'happening.' The dickhead even allows the scenes, where the microphone dips into view, make the edit. Night even said 'to just laugh at it.' His words. Don't waste your money.
