It's insane that Avatar, Cowboy Bebop, and Ghost in the Shell - three of my favorite anime shows (counting Avatar as anime) - are all being made into live-action movies so soon. It's kind of scary, actually. I fear the plots getting ruined, but I can't help but be excited. Hopefully the live-action anime surge will turn more people onto the genre, and not disgrace anime with bad reviews and a too-packed/too-empty plot.

I hope this director tells a good story and doesn't try to ruin it with his more than recent horrible attempts at good story telling and plot twists. I love the avatar and don't want to see it get decimated.
