I don't get it. Does any one screen movies? Why would they let a movie as bad as The happening ever be released? After Signs, Lady in the Water, The Village, You figure film companies would not return his calls.

My wife and I like his movies--especially The Sixth Sense and The Village. We haven't seen Happening yet. He is a very interesting director. Lady in the Water was not terrible, I have certainly seen worse. But a best director--Roman Polanski, Peter Jackson, followed by Clint Eastwood and the late Anthony Minghella.

True, some of his movies are the worst i have ever seen. they lack severe character development. But he does have a sense of what works and what doesn't
